Chaser and Keepers

The quaffle-carrier is the player currently holding the quaffle.

A shot is when a quaffle player throws the quaffle, releasing it from their hand(s), with the intent of the quaffle going through the hoop and scoring a goal.

The top of a offensive formation is between the mid-field line and the hoops.

Wing refers to players spaced widely in a formation, near the sidelines.  The wing position has an acute angle on the hoops, making shots difficult.

A zone is an area of the pitch that a player is somehow responsible for and placed inside.

Zone coverage is a type of defense player coverage where defensive players are responsible with preventing offensive plays in a specific area of the field.
